About miró manufactura de café
miró manufactura de café is a boutique roastery and café born and based in the heart of Zurich. Founded in 2013 by the brothers Dani and David Sanchez – after Dani got hooked by specialty coffee in Australia – it all started with a 5kg Probat roaster in a small disused garage in the suburbs. Besides our «first child» which has taken the shape of a coffee truck, nowadays miró includes its flagship café and roastery miró Brauer, the newest shop miró Kreuzplatz, two shops at Zurich Hauptbahnhof – miró Passage Bahnhofstrasse and miró Passage Sihlquai.
Coffee philosophy
From day one, miró manufactura de café has uniquely sourced and roasted specialty coffee. Most of our carefully chosen beans from all over the world – with the utmost focus on a sustainable production chain – are fair trade and organic, some even certified or more and more direct trade. We serve only coffee`s of the highest quality that is freshly roasted every week. miró imports extraordinary green coffee and strives to serve an outstanding cup of coffee for everyone.

Obtaining beans at fair conditions and quality, for us, includes the necessity that the cultivating communities at origin are healthy and have the right to freedom and well-being. To produce extraordinary coffee, causing no unnecessary harm, inspiring people and to change to a sustainable way. How we act We believe that relationships should be built on the foundations of integrity and respect and strive for excellence in everything we do. This includes how we communicate and deal with each other on a daily basis and making sure we’re caring about everyones needs – from the farmer to the employees and our customers.
